Dr.Lynn von Schneidau is a graduate of Bastyr University and has been a doctor of Naturopathy and family medicine since 2002. She is a primary care doctor and a women’s health specialist. Dr.Lynn acts as both a healer and teacher, empowering her patients to take control of their health. Dr. Lynn’s approach examines not only the physical symptoms, but also addresses the emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of health. She brings compassion and her own prior health crisis to create a safe, caring and healing environment for her patients As a primary care doctor, Dr. von Schneidau’s approach is both orthodox with testing methods including standard blood tests, diagnostic testing, comprehensive history, allergy testing, hormonal and nutritional assessment but also treats holistically with alternative medicine through lifestyle and diet modification, homeopathy, non-allergenic diets, detoxification, homeopathy, cranial sacral, massage and herbal supplements. Dr.Lynn is a provider for major insurances including Regence, Premera, Lifewise, First choice, United Health Care in the State of Washington.

Dr. Lynn von Schneidau was born and raised in Pleasant Valley, Iowa and began her medical career as a pediatric volunteer at the University of Iowa pediatric cancer ward. Dr. von Schneidau began her undergraduate studies as a premed student at the University of Iowa and transferred to Business school and attained her Business Economics degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1984. She then attended the Institute of Holistic Studies in Santa Barbara California and earned her massage certificate.

She worked in the high tech industry in Santa Barbara at Applied Magnetics upon graduation. Her own illness brought her back into the medical field. After unsuccessful Orthodox treatments drugs and surgery she sought treatment in Mexico. It was through this therapy she learned the power of the body to heal itself. This experience had a profound shift in her views of medicine. Through juicing, flooding the body with live nutrients and taking away impediments to health, Dr. von Schneidau completely healed. She worked in Santa Barbara as a person Cancer clinic advocate and in sales in corporate wellness. She then moved to Vail, Colorado where she worked as a Massage therapist for 6 years at the Lodge at Cordillera and began her family. Her experience of alternative healing in Mexico made her want to have a greater impact. Her desire to become a physician who listened, treat the cause not the symptoms, and use more natural means to heal led Dr. Lynn to Bastyr University. In 1996 she began medical school as a single mother with three children ages 1,3 and 4. In 2001, she earned her ND degree from Bastyr University.
